Shots of Wild Turkey!
It’s 5 o’ clock somewhere…but at 6:50pm EST in Lewiston, MI it’s wild turkey time! We haven’t seen this many together in quite some time here at Garland Resort. But all of a sudden, two weeks in a row of the turkey trot! Last Sunday we watched a momma and her 12 chicks cross the road very near the main gate of the Woods II neighborhood. And tonight a rafter of turkeys on the Fountains #13 tee box…..

Stay-puft sky…(8/2/15)
I suppose a pilot sees these sights all the time. But for those of us who are altitude challenged, this kind of thing is pretty spectacular to behold. While most of Michigan was being doused in strong winds and rains yesterday, we had a slight reprieve in Lewiston around 5pm. Hopefully these pictures convey how beautifully the sky was blanketed with marshmallow-y clouds!
