With an endless supply of activities and places to visit including one of the newest near beautiful Xcaret…a floating gondola tour at night!
Mexico is wonderful!
Visited the long awaited opening of Tequila Comida &Cantina this evening for dinner. This newest addition to the Los Portales family of food purveyors is just trying out its sea legs with the refurbished space formerly occupied by Olo Cantina. 
You are greeted with a bolillo roll and red and green salsas or olive oil for dipping.
I enjoyed my El Guapo cerveza and my Mole Pipian de Cuerdo
My husband’s Tacos de Chicharones were very good, full of fried pork belly and pickled onions.
The bar is fully stocked and Margaritas are excellent. The bartender is always willing to accommodate.
Some expediting kinks to work out, but all in all a solid effort for the opening day!
Half day fishing trip on the Sea of Cortez was a blast, even if we did have to rise at an ungodly hour. We witnessed an awesome sunrise as we left the Marina in San Jose del Cabo.
Saw some whales spouting about 2 miles offshore.
Then, started the fishing with mackerel coming first. A couple 20 lb. Dorado (mahi mahi)got hooked next.
Some trigger fish and another mackerel to follow.
A beautiful day on the water!
From the moment you enter the grounds of Restaurante/Huerta Los Tamarindos to the very last bite you are transported to the hacienda atmosphere of the true Mexico. From the tacos de cabron to the tamales of sweet potato and pork in banana leaves to the oyster and fish roe shooters. WHAT A TREAT!

Tuna sopes were spectacular.
Not to mention the tacos de res and the tequila tastings.
Chef Silva and company have given the Cabo foodie community another reason to celebrate!
There were also some homemade empanadas dulces and other posters and pastellitos to end the day.

An evening cruise to the “end of the earth” starts in the marina of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Our 2 deck catamaran is filled with eager cruisers all hoping for the magical sunset at El Arco. As we approach the rock formations before the main attraction we can see the sea lions sun bathing in day’s last light.
Trying to capture all the beauty here is difficult.

Best of all we got our tickets to Sabor a Cabo Rural!!
Farm to Table is happening in Mexico! Can’t wait for Sunday!
Visiting our home in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico where a spectacular blue sky and sunrise always awaken the senses.
