Our last stop is the port of Trieste, Italy about 90 minutes from Venice. Larger cruise ships started docking here when Italy decided it should control the traffic in Venice during and after the pandemic. We didn’t mind, as we had previously visited Venice and Trieste was uncrowded and cute as could be! It even has a canal like Venice!

The Piazza and shops were beautiful and clean and the people extremely friendly!

After our train ride to Venice, and an impossibly long wait for a taxi, we finally arrived for some rest and relaxation (and some excellent food) at our hotel in the Mogliano area of Venice.

What a journey! Feeling so blessed to have seen more of our fantastic planet! Glory to God!
