Look at how advanced this city was in 79 AD! The tile work is sensational! One of the more than 2000 souls lost that day when Mt. Vesuvius spewed. The victims were caught unaware and literally petrified by the hot ash. Again,beautiful Italy, just a short distance away from the carnage of Pompeii
